Event Description:
Working with artist George Maurer and skateboarder Jared Johnson, students will take a blank deck and create their own images and designs. This is a 3 day workshop (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) being held during Parent Teacher Conferences for the Baker School District. Day 1: Brainstorm design ideas, cut out stencils, start painting learning design elements including perspective, color and basic drawing skills. Day 2: Continue painting and finish boards. Day 3: Learn how to use them with a skateboarding lesson from Jared. Students will need to bring protective gear. Cost: $15 members/$20 nonmembers
